Meet the Team
Pat Keogh – Operations Director
Pat previously worked as a Tax Accountant for a number of years with a West End law firm and later on with KPMG, before entering the recruitment world when he joined one of the market-leading financial recruitment firms. Pat worked as an Associate Director of Tax recruitment before establishing Pro-Tax with his fellow Directors. Pat spends much of his spare time travelling, snowboarding and is an avid Chelsea FC supporter.
Jim Halstead – Director of In-House Recruitment
Jim graduated from Reading University and prior to entering recruitment spent time as a petrochemical engineer. Jim has worked in tax recruitment with several leading financial recruitment firms, mainly specialising in tax. In his spare time Jim likes to spend time with his family and is keen on sailing.
Conor Dilworth – Director of Practice Recruitment
Conor graduated from The University of East Anglia with a degree in history and, after working in Prague as an English teacher, started working in recruitment for a niche legal recruitment company before joining a large financial recruiter to specialize in taxation recruitment. Conor was a founding member of Pro-Tax and runs the practice division. Conor enjoys skiing, football and following both Munster and Ireland RFC and still manages to play when he can.
Gerry Monaghan – Senior Consultant, In-House
Gerry has been in sales for the last 10 years and latterly worked in taxation recruitment at a leading financial recruitment firm before joining Pro-Tax to spearhead their In-House Recruitment Team. Gerry is currently trying to lower his golf handicap to below 15 on his PS3.
Morris Goodman – Senior Consultant
Morris read Classics at Leeds University before commencing on a career within recruitment. Morris started his recruitment career with an international consultancy where he set up two recruitment divisions from scratch. Morris was recruited by Pro-Tax for his in-depth knowledge of recruiting within the in-house tax market. Assignments have included the Head of Tax for a Real Estate Group, FTSE100 Global VAT Manager, and a FTSE250 Head of International Tax. Morris’ hobbies include chess, travelling, and tennis.
Neal Craig – Consultant
Having relocated from South Africa some 10 years Neal has enjoyed the fast pace of London life. Having been in tax recruitment for the last 5 years, Neal spent some time with a leading financial recruitment firm before aspiring to join Pro-Tax. Neal is an avid rugby fan and takes pride in watching South Africa win occasionally.
Alison Humphries - Consultant
Alison has several years’ experience recruiting in the practice market and was a senior consultant at one of the largest professional services recruitment companies before joining Pro-Tax. Alison works on the practice team and she enjoys strong relationships with Big 4, mid tier and boutique firms. Alison is currently learning to snowboard and in her spare time enjoys travel, socialising and has been picked out by Sky cameramen biting her nails in the crowd watching beloved Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Ben Thrower - Consultant
Ben graduated with a Maths Degree from University of Surrey before embarking on a career in recruitment. Ben has previously worked with an international recruitment firm having helped them establish a niche tax in financial services team. As such he has recruited tax professionals for a number of large financial services groups, as well as more niche fund management firms. Ben enjoys eating out, socializing and generally pretending he knows a thing or two about wine.

Rachel Graham - Consultant
Rachel has recently moved from Dublin, where her introduction to recruitment was in a start-up practice where she successfully set up the Finance desk. Prior to that, she spent quite a number of years in lending in a large financial services organisation. Rachel graduated from University College Dublin with a BA in Psychology and postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies from Dublin Business School. Rachel enjoys baking, good coffee and fine wines and likes watching Ireland and Leinster win at Rugby.

Graham Young -Consultant
Graham graduated with a degree in Law and Taxation from Bournemouth University and gained experience with JPMorgan and Ernst & Young before embarking on a career in tax recruitment. Graham's academic and professional experience within the tax sector is invaluable when understanding the needs of our clients. In his spare time Graham enjoys travelling, supporting Wasps RFC and playing the guitar.
